THE REALITY OF LIVING WITH ANOREXIA
The reality of living with an eating disorder
- Constantly wishing your day away that feels like it's going by so slowly.
- Your day is consumed by self-critical thoughts and feelings of inferior.
- Isolating yourself from everyone and constantly wanting to be alone.
- Unable to find enjoyment out of anything and instead feeling constantly irritated.
- Experiencing uncomfortable physical symptoms (coldness, hair loss, digestive issues)
- Spending 99.9% of your day fixated on food and/or exercise.
- Constantly feeling tired but unable to wind down and relax.
Abs: Eating disorders are not fun. They stop you doing everything that you want to. Such a life ruining illness which doesn't belong to anybody. You do not deserve anorexia! Anorexia has taken everything away from me. Many things which were failed to be addressed in this post. They ruin friendships, relationships, education, self-esteem, home life along with many others. We need to stop glamorising eating disorders. They are gone wreckers. A destructive illness which ruins your life day by day. It takes and takes until there is nothing left. Fight it and get a life back!
